The floral notes and mellow finish of Central Otago’s Lamermoor Sloe Gin refines the rasp of cider vinegar, further warmed and tickled with runny Southland honey. Allspice, with its cheerful fragrant warmth, freshness and woodsy stability and home-grown plums or organic , with their frank and honest sweetness revel in this fusion of flavour to create pickled onions of unexpected refinement and endless culinary opportunity. Light and fragrant, this product is a tribute to Josie’s grandmother, who always paired plum with allspice in her own kitchen.
